Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Stack Row handles personal information in connection with stackrow.org and communications sent to stackrow@gmail.com.

Who Is Responsible for Your Information

Stack Row is an independent technology publication. The publisher of Stack Row is responsible for the processing described in this policy.

For privacy questions or requests, email stackrow@gmail.com. Use “Privacy Request” in the subject line.

Information You Send Us

When you email us, we receive your email address, any name displayed with your message, its contents, and any attachments or other information you choose to provide. This can include editorial questions, correction requests, contributor proposals, partnership inquiries, and business inquiries.

Please limit your message to information relevant to the inquiry. Do not send passwords, access keys, confidential customer records, or sensitive personal information that we do not need.

How We Use Correspondence

We use relevant correspondence to consider and respond to inquiries, assess correction requests and research leads, discuss proposals and partnerships, and maintain a record of the matter being handled.

We do not add people who email us to a mailing list. Stack Row does not currently send a newsletter.

Information Collected Through the Website

Stack Row is a static website. It does not provide user accounts, comments, contact forms, newsletter signups, or payment features, and it does not ask visitors to submit personal information through its pages.

The website is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web host, the hosting provider processes technical request data needed to deliver and protect the website. This can include an IP address, the date and time of a request, the page or file requested, browser and device information, the referring page, and the response status.

The website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files from Google, and Google receives technical request information such as your IP address and browser details.

The website does not include analytics, advertising, or affiliate tracking scripts.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website does not set cookies and does not use browser local storage, tracking pixels, or embedded third-party media.

If that changes, this policy will be updated before the new technology is introduced, and any consent controls the law requires will be put in place first.

Service Providers and Other Disclosures

Our contact address uses Gmail. Email sent to stackrow@gmail.com is processed through Google’s email service. Information about Google’s own practices is available in the Google Privacy Policy.

Hostinger hosts the website and Google supplies its fonts, as described above. Each provider handles the technical data it receives under its own terms and privacy policy.

Information may also need to be disclosed where required by applicable law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights. Any such disclosure must have an appropriate basis and be limited to the circumstances concerned.

Where the law requires a stated ground for processing, we handle correspondence because it is necessary to respond to the person who contacted us and to run the publication. A partnership or business inquiry may also involve steps taken at your request before an agreement.

The technical data processed by our hosting provider is needed to deliver the website securely.

How Long Information Is Kept

We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed to handle the matter it concerns, including any follow-up, correction, or agreement. Messages that are no longer needed are deleted.

Correspondence may be kept longer where it is needed to meet a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute.

Technical request data is held by the hosting provider under its own retention practices.

International Processing

Our service providers operate internationally. Information you send us, and the technical data created when you visit the website, may be processed in countries other than the one where you live.

Your Privacy Requests

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain uses of your information. Where processing is based on consent, you may have a right to withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

To make a request, email stackrow@gmail.com and explain what you would like us to do. We may need limited information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Please do not send an identity document unless specifically requested through an appropriate process.

We will assess and respond to requests under applicable law. Some rights are subject to legal conditions or exceptions. You may also have the right to complain to the data protection or consumer authority where you live.

Keeping Information Secure

No method of transmitting or storing information can provide an absolute guarantee of security. Please use care when deciding what to include in an email.

Children’s Information

Stack Row’s editorial subject matter is business technology. The website is written for a professional audience and is not directed at children.

External Websites

Our content includes links to other websites. If you follow an external link, that website’s own privacy practices apply to its collection and use of your information. Review its policy before providing personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy when the practices it describes change. The effective date will identify the applicable version. Where a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, that process must occur before the new use begins.
